2 Tower Apartment Project To Break Ground In Downtown Bellevue

Eric Pryne of the Seattle Times is reporting that Bellevue based Su Development is breaking ground on a 2 story apartment project in the heart of Downtown Bellevue. For all of you condo owners in town wondering about views – it will impact at least 2 of Bellevue’s condominium towers (Bellevue Pacific Tower and Bellevue Towers)

The greater impact however will be a positive one for prospective Bellevue residents. Downtown Bellevue is quickly becoming an amazing place to live. Parks, walk-ability, restaurants, schools, business and proximity to Seattle are just some of the perks attracting residents to the area.

According to the article, the project will involve 2 phases of development. The first phase will deliver a 21 story tower with 142 units and 10,000 sq. ft. of shops and restaurants. The second phase will add an 18 story tower featuring 124 units and 15,000 sq. ft. of retail. I’ll report on more details throughout the week, but for now, this is pretty exciting news for our local economy.
