I’m headed down to Veer Lofts this morning.  After speaking with Dori Doble yesterday, I realized that they have just 5 units left.  I thought it might be interesting to write a post highlighting their remaining inventory in detail.

I was doing some research this afternoon for a seller that owns a loft in the city.  In doing so, I realized that Mosler Lofts has 11 units for sale and 6 pending offers.  A total of 17 units that are currently active or under contract.  About 12% of the total building.

In a media release to the public on Wednesday, Escala announced that they have reached 65 sales.  Of those 65 sales, 38 condos have closed.  This is good news for a project that has 269 units to sell.

I work with an investment team that specializes in buying foreclosure properties at a discount.  On a weekly basis they will call me and check in to make sure their investors are purchasing their condos at a price that can be re-sold on the market place.  Just yesterday, I caught word of 2801 at the Cosmo going to auction.  It was purchased today at over half of what it was originally sold for in 2007 (April 26th of 2007 it was sold at $590,950!)

Quick Update on Olive 8:

According to a contact at the Olive 8 sales team, they have had six closings since April.  In addition, they have many more contracts being negotiated. In total, Olive 8 has 229 units on 22 floors.
