Let There Be Light; In Your Condo

One of the biggest complaints I get from prospective condo/loft buyers is that a unit does not have enough light.  Living in Seattle, proper lighting is important.  With a fair amount of grey skies throughout the year, we need to do everything we can to illuminate our living space.

My wife and I are actually adding light to our condo as we speak.  We decided on more recessed lighting and will be installing tech lighting in our office and bedroom as well (similar to what you see below).  It runs on cables spaced 5 inches apart.  We were happy with both the aesthetic appeal as well as the performance from the 50 watt bulbs.

When you are planning on adding more light to your home, you can choose a combination of floor lamps, wall lamps and ceiling fixtures.  I’ve added some pictures for inspiration.  Photo credits to Westelm.com, Boconcept.com and TechLighting.com
