I paid a visit to the Equinox sales center yesterday and thought I would provide an update. Completion and move in, is currently scheduled for June. They have sold 61 units out of 204. Obviously, the demand for pre-sale doesn’t really exist in this market. Sales should begin to pick up once the units are complete. The amenities are sound and the location is very popular for the younger crowd of Seattleites. I just wonder if they will continue to hold their prices, as the discounting has occurred at other projects in town. Look for active sale improvement across the board once the House approves the stimulus package and its signed off by President Obama. A $15,000 tax credit for any purchase in any income category should make an impact. For more information on Equinox please feel free to contact me directly.
