The forever popular Queen Anne Neighborhood of Seattle can really be split into two:
Upper Queen Anne includes everything on top of the ‘hill’ and is centered around the retail district on Queen Anne Drive. In general, it’s quieter and little less ‘urban’ and has a higher percentage of single-family homes. Upper Queen Anne has been a target of young and old for years. It is home to some of the most beautiful homes in Seattle. In addition it has a fair share of “townhomes” as well; A very popular choice for buyers in their 20′s and 30′s.
Lower Queen Anne is adjacent to the Seattle Center and has many restaurants, bars, condos/apartments and Theatre. Once home to the Seattle Sonics, Lower Queen Anne has built a very dymanic and diverse enviornment attracting people of all walks of life.
Both neighborhoods have great options for leasing or buying condos.
