Zumper released its National Rent Report this month and Seattle came in as the 10th most expensive city to rent in the country. I don’t know if this is a big surprise though – many Seattle residents have taken notice.
According to the report, Seattle’s average 1 bedroom costs $1,710 per month. With our 2 bedroom average at $2,320 per month. Seattle rents have increased 6.9% year over year. According to recent Zillow Data, Downtown Seattle rent has increased as much as 9% from September 2014 through September 2015.
According to MLS data, there are just 41 active rentals (condos and apartments) in the Downtown Seattle core. Interested? Check them out here.
