Seattle condo fans, keep this project on your radar. The address is 1200 Stewart St.

Back in 2007, Lexas Companies which developed Escala, had plans to build a 2 tower project featuring condos/hotels. Like most other developers, these plans were tabled during the great recession (2007-2010).

According to the DJC, a Vancouver B.C. firm has plans to resurrect the project. Westbank Corp with architect Henriquez Partners has revised plans that include two 38-story towers, with 892 residential units and underground parking for 970 vehicles.

This would one of many projects currently underway in the Denny Triangle. It is pretty incredible once you see the existing landscape and the future landscape side by side (photos courtesy of Westbank/HPA)
