BUILDING
606 Post, also known as Post Hotel, was produced only three years after the great fire of 1889 by one of the most prolific architects of the Pioneer District, Elmer Fisher. Fisher built many post-fire buildings throughout Pioneer Square including the prestigious Pioneer Building, which was awarded by the American Institute of Architecture as “the finest building West of Chicago”.
The classic 5-story brick structure is square in plan with flat roof and rooftop deck. It offers residential and commercial spaces, the commercial spaces face Yesler Way, and the residential entrance is on Post Alley. Rarely will any of these units be on the market considering there are only 14 unique loft homes of which have charming exposed brick walls and hardwoods. The top floor units include skylights and beautiful vaulted ceilings.
