Seattle Condo Snapshot, May 18
The weekly Seattle condo numbers are in. Let’s dive in and take a look!
Before we jump into this week, you may have noticed my post late last week (Encouraging Signs Of Spring Selling In Downtown Seattle). I noticed a big uptick in pending sales. I shared this chart showing the significant increase in pending sales over the last 30-45 days.
The number of pending sales is always one of the most important indicators when you consider the health of a real estate market. This week, the pending sales totaled 15. There were 18 new condo listings and 5 closed sales.
Highlights Of The Week
- Nexus continues to be in focus with 6 of the new 18 listings. Nexus now has 34 active condo listings on the market and 39 rentals.
- 2 listings really stood out to me at Nexus. A penthouse listed at $2.199M and this 2 bedroom unit on the 33rd floor. The photos are a 10 out of 10
- The pending sales this week included a lot of my favorite Seattle condo buildings. Including 2200 Westlake, Insignia Towers, Cristalla, Escala and Olive 8.
- Finally, out of the 5 listings that sold this week, one of my favorites was a loft in a historic Seattle firehouse – check it out. I covered this unit earlier in the year in my 4 Seattle Lofts to consider in 2020.
Im working on a new video today. So be on the lookout and keep an eye on the UrbanCondoSpaces Youtube Channel
