Tour A Million Dollar Home In Bellevue
I’m taking you guys on a tour of $1.395M Mid Century home in Bellevue. I sold this home back in 2016. At that time, there were 21 offers. My clients who own the home now beat out all of those offers and have called this place home for nearly 4.5 years.
It went through a huge transformation. When we decided to go to market, we put together a $30,000 budget for landscaping, paint, handyman and more. This is what the front of the home looked like just 3 weeks ago.
Now here is what it looks like after 3 weeks of work
Another change we made was to paint the fireplace in the center of the home. Mid-Century homes built post World War II have a huge following. Most of the homes in this category were built from 1945 to 1969. This home, built in 1966 has many features you would see in a mid-century home – including the fireplace. In many mid century homes, a fireplace in the center of the home was a common design feature.
Our fireplace needed a shot in the arm. We decided to paint it white to match the white brick in the front of the home. My goal was to refresh the interior just like we did the exterior. It ended up being a huge win. See the before here:
Here is what it looked like after!
As you can see, small changes make a HUGE difference. We also focused on good professional photography, staging and video. All staples of a successful listing campaign.
I’m very fortunate on a daily basis to work with amazing homeowners all over the city. In this case, I get to work with a VERY close friend. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I hope you can see the time and energy spent in getting this home ready. We hope that it sells soon and finds a great buyer for the next life-cycle of this beautiful residence.
