Our Seattle Condo Map, Just Hit 100,000 Views
The Seattle Condo Map that I designed just hit 100,000 views. This is a huge milestone. It was created to give our followers immediate access to all of the condos in the Seattle condo market. When I committed to specializing in condos 15 years ago, It was important to me to provide as much information on the condo market as I could – for free. This is still my goal – I want my readers, clients, strangers and condo enthusiasts to be able to use the information I provide to make sound decisions when considering a condo or a rental.
How The Map Works
I’ve used Google Maps to designed different segments of the Seattle condo market. For example, you can use the legend (on the left) and target certain Seattle neighborhoods that you want to focus on. As an example, here is what the map looks like when you look at just Belltown/Retail District
When you remove that segment, you can target something else like Pioneer Square. You might target Pioneer Square if you are interested in lofts or older, historic buildings in the city (need some recommendations? Just ask).
This is what the map looks like with all of the neighborhoods highlighted.
When you click on a particular condo building, the map is designed to give greater detail. Lets use Cristalla condos as an example. When you click on the Cristalla icon, you’ll see in the legend on the left that there is a lot of useful information. The neighborhood, number of units, the number of stories and more.
As you scroll further, you’ll notice, that I’ve added some additional detail. The story behind the project, interesting facts, links, a website I have built and more. I also added amenities for the building, what is included in the HOA dues and if available, the pet/rental policy for the project.
This is a big accomplishment. Something I am very proud of. This is a tool that I hope will help others for years to come. We’ll have a big celebration when we hit 500,000 and a HUGE party when we hit a 1,000,000!
